remote MySql connection in the same DC
im gona get 2 servers for a large forum site
the first server will be a DELL DUAL XEON with 2 GB Ram (this will only work as a MySQL server)
the second server will be a Intel Pentium 4 with 512MB (this will be the webserver).
what do you think?
and the important Question is:
rachshack dose not offer Vlan, so i will have to connect to the MySQL server (from the webserver) over the internet, what about the speed will be good enough? the 2 server will be in the same DC.
and what about sniffers and security :|
have any one done this before at rackshack, or another hosting company, what there advice?
