DNS Trick for MS Front Page?

I have been occassionally editting my 'hosts' file under WINNT/SYSTEM32/DRIVERS/ETC (windows 2000) while I am waiting for DNS to propigate.

I notice this works well to trick FTP, and HTTPME - but not MS Front Page. Short of using the IP address - is there anyway to trick MS front page so I can use the domain name?
