Am I missing anything out needed for server security? I have cpanel installed with WHM. Also note that I know of other measures but have not incuded them here since they might break cpanel functionality and cause probelms later - please mention measures that wont affect cpanel/WHM only.
1. Firewall - advanced policy firewall APF
2. IDS - Tripwire
3. Anti virus scanning software for integration with mail servers - CLAM
We have a managed server, however the company does not monitor the firewall or IDS - is that something we can take care of remotely - if so, how?
