Weird, Sporadic, Name Resolution Problem...

This has been bugging me for a few weeks now, and is approaching irritating... Here's what's transpired, and what's happening:

A few weeks ago I had my host move my sites to a new (bigger, badder, faster) server, which is (unrelated to the problem, I believe) at RackShack. I was given the new NameServer IPs, and made the changes at my sites' Domain Registrar, GoDaddy.

Since that move, when going to the sites, I sporadically receive "Could not locate remote server" errors. I have found that if I repeat the request a few times, the name will eventually properly resolve, and the site loads fine...

I have had the host check their setup, and everything purportedly is fine. I have no reason to doubt them...

I have also checked with my ISP (Southwestern Bell), who provided me with two different DNS IPs. This change seemed to have reduced the frequency of the errors, though they are still occurring, as I said, sporadically...

If it is happening to just me, I can (more or less) live with it. My concern is that my clients (and their clients) may also receive these errors, which would certainly be a bad thing!

It almost seems that my requests are timing out with the DNS, and returning a "Not Found" status... If this is the case, what can be done?

Any other ideas??? Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

-Bob
