About a month ago, my server started to get 2,000-3,000 echo requests per day from a handful of IP addresses in the Caribbean. They show up in logs from the firewall (which is patiently blocking them.)
This activity doesn't seem to hurt anything, but I was curious what might cause or motivate it.
