WHM "backup" on a remote server

I can't manage to setup the 'Configure Backup' feature in (root) WHM to a remote server 'ftp'.

I have 2 servers with big HDD (#1 with a primary 40GB and a secondary 80GB, #2 with a 120GB primary only) and I'm trying to bakcup one one the other, but the settings won't take anything less than /home/something on my primary HDD in the current server.
I tried setting it to 'Remote Ftp Server', entering the 'Ftp Backup Host/user/pass' Backup Destination, but it doesnt take, when I click 'save' it gives me:

/home/zaa is not a directory..
Backup has been disabled to prevent file loss..
/home/zaa does not exist..

the only way it won't give me thht error is if I put a directory on the CURRENT server (not remote) but then, it's not "remote ftp backup"

am I doing something wrong? how do I set it up?
