weird thing happening

it shows a third user but the ip isnt shown.
[admin@ns admin]$ who
admin pts/0 Sep 24 21:52 (202.88.163.46)
root pts/3 Sep 24 13:40 (202-63-168-39.exatt.com)
root pts/2 Sep 24 14:25 (202.88.163.46)
the third ip is my friend.he was on the server 10 hrs back.
i tried ps -ax |grep pts/3
didnt work..
anyone?
