Email Relaying for Hotel Guests - Any Non-Windows Solution Available?

Scenario:
End user checks into business hotel chain, plugs his laptop into the hotels high speed port and needs to be able to send email sucessfully without changing ANY of his email settings.

Currently:
The hotels connectivity is outsourced to an engineering firm (my customer) all email is handled by this device called a nomadix (http://nomadix.com) the email is then sent to a windows box running http://www.postcastserver.com, and his email is sent out successfully without any authentication at all even though the end user has authentication enabled in his email client. No settigns need to be changed at all and it works.

We need to do this in a linux environment. We cannot run a fully open relay for obvious reasons. How can this be accomplished?

--------------------------
I tried this but it will not work if the end user has authentication enabled.

hostlist relay_hosts = lsearch;/etc/relayhosts : \
localhost : lsearch;/etc/privaterelay
----------------------------
Any help would be great.
