Not being an expert, I would like to ask for your help! Last week, I selected APLUS.NET for hosting one of my domains. Three days later, I added a catchall e-mail address and I forwarded the mail to my AOL account. In a matter of hours, I discovered over 500 delivery failure notifications from MAILER DAEMON. I realized that spammers were sending links to a pornographic site, using my domain and bogus names. After 24 hours of trying to get some degree of assistance from Aplus. Net, I cancelled my account and redirected the DNS info to eNom's servers. The Aplus.net's rep simply wrote that there is nothing they or I could do. That's all... However, I am worried... it's a valuable 3-letter dot com domain, and I am concerned it may be branded as a domain involved in spamming (my name is obviously quite accessible in the WHOIS). Now that I don't receive the Mailer Daemon notifications, since I cut the service, I wonder if these people still can abuse my domain behind my back (without the catchall, I would never have found out!). If so, what do you suggest I could do to make them stop? Do I report them, and to whom? Thank you in advance for your advice!
