How Is This Secure?

They have a secure lock on the login from the main page, but what? I see no https://, I surely don't see the lock in the bottom of the browser. Are they lying by putting that lock there? Is this actually secure?
Thanks, from my understanding of security and the Internet, this is not a secure login form. Or is it that it does not matter what page the session is initiated from, just as long as the destination is at a https server?
