Name server issues
I am a web hosting reseller with sites on three servers.
I have edited the A records DNS on a particular domain name to point to the different servers' nameservers to make them look a bit more professional.
Eg:
ns1.mynameserver.com - A record points to ns1.firstisp.com
ns2.mynameserver.com - A record points to ns2.firstisp.com
ns3.mynameserver.com - A record points to ns1.secondisp.com
ns4.mynameserver.com - A record points to ns2.secondisp.com
ns5.mynameserver.com - A record points to ns1.thirdisp.com
ns6.mynameserver.com - A record points to ns2.thirdisp.com
Is what I've done OK?
Some people tell me that this is not OK as the name servers aren't correctly registered???
It seems to be working OK but some ISPs won't transfer domains to these 'virtual' name servers cos they say they don't really exist!
Any help greatfully appreciated.
