Ensim with Zend?
Need advises from all of you regarding installing Zend Optimizer in an Redhat/Ensim environment.
I had bought a software that requires zend optimizer to be installed in the web server.
As I have quite a number of clients in the web server presently, I am not sure if it is safe to install zend now. The vendor of the software has offer to install it for me. Thus, need advises from you all.
1. What type of consequences would there be if the installation is not right?
2. Will it slow down my web server?
3. Will there be a crash of the web server?
4. How safe is it to allow root info to the vendor?
5. Will it affect my other clients who are also using PHP in other softwares?
Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm really quite idiot in all these and would really appreciate if I can get some guidance on this matter asap.
