Cpanel backup restoration question
does anybody know of a way to import a cpanel backup made via the control panel of a site to a new server via SSH. Something like the WHM transfer script, only using a backup file that is already on the server as the source.
I am trying to transfer a site to a new home and the WHM transfer script keeps timing out. When I try to set up the account and import via the Cpanel wizard from the harddrive on my PC, it also keep timing out after about 200 MB (the backup file is well over 300 MB).
The timing out could well have to do with the problems Nocster currently has.
Is there a command or script I can run via SSH that will restore the backup of the account onto it's new server, as I've been trying to get this transferred all day and I'm getting a bit tired of returning to my PC every few hours to see a 404 page.
I have the backup file sitting on the server and on my home PC. I'd just untar the file into the user's directory, but it contains quite a few email addresses and the user would prefer not to loose them and restoring everything that way will probably take up an entire afternoon tomorrow too.
