Help me! Problems with frontpage

I have a customer who uses frontpage and i've been working on this for a while trying to figure it out. I set up his account with fpex and copied his files over.

When I tried to access it via frontpage it said I did not have frontpage extensions so I uninstalled fpex and reinstalled them.

Naturally i lost all of my navagation bars etc and I could log in to front page and edit the site.

So I copied his files over again and it would no longer let me log on, PLUS the navagation bar did not come back.

I have tried various things and the navagation bar seems to have disappeared....

I set up a new test account and copied the files over and the navagation bars were there and it said I didnt have fpex... same thing...

anyone know how I can get frontpage extensions working AND have my navagation bars? My customer is a lawyer and he is very upset that he might have to recreate the navagation bars... Also since I think frontpage sucks in the first place, I'm not familiar with it and the navagation bars I tried to recreate are just not working at all...

I use Dathorn if that makes a difference.
