Upgrading PHP 4.3.3 on a raq 550 with HOWTO

I have upgraded my Raq550 with PHP 4.3.3 with this HOWTO. Some things went wrong after it runned good and my PHP is now dead Upgrading PHP 4.3.3 on a raq 550 with HOWTO

I had to do the upgrade because of all the older versions where not working good with counting numbers on my pages.

After the installation and a reboot it seems to be that the database-files where locked, the symlink for mysql was gone and mysql couldn't connect. After fixing that an putting a specific CHMOD to the database-files, the database could be connected an the records could be read but can't be modified Upgrading PHP 4.3.3 on a raq 550 with HOWTO that still doens't work.

It seems to look that all the pages where al working fine, but when I was clicking around on my website sometimes I got an error (I think it was an inclusion or something) The errorscame a little bit more... then they dissapear and the next morning after the update all the pages aren't working anymore excluding the frontpage. I've read that some people have upgraded there webserver successfully...... but what is the problem here ??
