Upgrading From Plesk 5.0 Standard to 6.0 RPM. Need game Plan!
I have a Plesk 5.0 Standard Install server running RH 7.2. What would be the best way to go about upgrading the server? Should I use the autoinstall script to upgrade? Also the server has 940 sites (they are mainly small sites). Does the RPM version of Plesk support that many sites? I had a problem with apache before with upgrading from 2.5 standard to a 5.0 RPM install, apache for some reason couldnt handle that many sites and I had to hire someone to hack the apache config a bit to get it to work (and that was only with about 700 sites on that server) so can apache on Plesk 6.0 RPM handle 940 sites? Also anyone have any recommendations on someone I could hire to help me out if I have any problems with the upgrade?
