"Last login" prompt gone?
For some reason, the "Last login" stamp that usually shows on the SSH login screen is no longer showing. I'm wondering if up2date might have overwritten something and caused a change of settings on this server?
I checked, and the syslog service IS running. That's what was initially suggested to check. It's also still set to run at boot.
I even went so far as to reboot this machine, and still nothing. Getting a regular login prompt -- but not showing the "Last login" timestamp.
Any suggestions??
