So i finally get redhat installed on my server tonight and it went together really smoothy until i connected a second hard drive. I can't get redhat to recognize the second drive even though BIOS and the linux boot prompt see it. I see it as dev/hdc, but when i try to fdisk or fdisk -l, it either does not see it or gives me an error stating it is unable to find it. I tried using the drive manager to see if it recognized the drive, but it doesn't, the same goes for the hardware manager.
My jumpers are correct (1 drive on each channel set to Cable Select) and my connections are secure, I swapped out the cdrom after installation and replaced it with my second hard drive. I just don't get it.
If anyone could offer some help i would be very thankfull
