My understanding is that most bandwidth metering programs use ISAPI Filters to measure bandwidth on IIS. Apparently on IIS 6 and Windows 2003, though the Notify READ_RAW_DATA and SEND_RAW_DATA messages cannot be caught without putting the entire server into IIS 5 compatability mode. So does this mean a lot of sites out there running in IIS 5 mode or is there some other way bandwidth metering software measure bandwidth?
