Linux trouble
I'm installing a new box with Red Hat Linux 7.3 and I'm having a tough time trying to get disk quotas enabled on the root partition. It is running kernel 2.4.20-20.7. The latest versions of quota perl module (1.4.8) and the quota package (3.06-9.7) are installedDo I need to downgrade to 2.4.20-18.7?
I'm able to enable quotas fine but this is what happens when:
creating aquota.user file
# quotacheck /
quotacheck: Can't find filesystem to check or filesystem not mounted with quota option.
Help would be appreciated. Am I enabling it wrongly (instructions would be nice)? I'm more of a windows administrator.
