Do I use a CNAME record or an A record?
I have a site with a vbulletin at the following address:quebecdiscussion.com/forums
I want to make it so when you type
forums.quebecdiscussion.com
it will bring you to the forum. Should I put a CNAME record for forums in webhostmanager or an A record and then point that A record to the IP Or neither? lol If use the A record pointed to the IP won't it just go to the main site and not the forum?
I have another site setup with forums.montrealracing.com however I made an account on WHM called forums.montrealracing.com to recieve it and I have an A record with the domain registrar only pointing to the IP and this works. I don't want to have to make a new account for every forum though.
