Creating FTP Accounts?
Probably a really stupid question, but I'm trying to get an account to create without the user of "passwd acctname". Control Panels arent an option, I'm working on a script to automate gaming server installs and I am having trouble making the account work after simply running adduser username -p password , it doesn't seem to initialize the account.
Does anyone know how to do this? I'm using ProFTPd on Redhat 9.
