option on gateway/router to see hosted sites on own LAN ?
Hi Everyone,I am hosting a few (under 10) websites off a home connection (DSL) which I use as a test box for hosting, to play with databases, scripts and other things (all for free for a few friends and aquaintances).
I am running into a small issue where I need to see some hosted sites from my own LAN, by URL, not by IP address to complete setup of phpbb for someone.
Going to any address I host currently shows the login for the router/gateway and does not let me past it.
Now I KNOW there is an option on many routers to be able to see things on the LAN from the LAN by URL, but I cannot remember what that option is called.
Ive tried to use the Anonymizer, but since it blocks cookies it doesnt work so well....and that was a hack around the issue anyways.
Could anyone help out ?
(I doubt my old netgear RT314 has this option, but I was considering buying a new router to correct the issue)
