Confirm hardware RAID setup....
A client of ours has asked us to confirm their RAID setup on their dedicated box at another datacenter on the EastCoast.
I know it's a FreeBSD box with hardware raid (pretty sure) using Ultra-160 SCSI drives.
This is the info I found on the box:
PCI Devices:
ahc0: Adaptec aic7899 Ultra160 SCSI adapter
ahc1: Adaptec aic7899 Ultra160 SCSI adapter
asr0: Adaptec Caching SCSI RAID
SCSI Devices:
da0: ADAPTEC RAID-1 370F
Is there anyway to confirm the number of physical drives that are behind the raid controller (without physically looking in the box) ?
I would just like to see a list of drives and their s/n's.
Any help would be appreciated!
