Has anyone noticed that when you upgrade to the latest kernel (using up2date at least), the kscand process begins to eat a lot of CPU time. Anyone have any thoughts on this? This problem may be confined to Redhat 7.3. I am noticing this on every server that has Redhat 7.3 and the 2.4.20-24.7 Kernel installed via RPM.
