Download mySQL database via shell and dialup?
Before you answer please consider the following that
happened to me and /or my limitations:
1. I am on slow dial-up
2. I used the ACP download but there was two problems
with that; (a) When downloading the browser will not
show how much is left (on dialup that is a problem,
especially if you get disconnected) and (cool.gif once I
downloaded the .gz it said the file was corrupted. I
am not sure if there was a special program other than
Iceows to open it.
3. I am mostly interested in downloading the posts,
settings, etc, not all the images each time.
4. I do have jailed shell access and cpanel. I have
heard that you can do something via shell, but not
sure if it can be done via jailed shell.
Any help much appreciated.
