Twice in the past week one of my W2K servers has stopped sending mail, the mail just sits in the mailroom/queue forlder. I'm only sending mail from a web form on the server using aspmail. I've created a new smtp virtual server with the same specs as the original one. After alternating between the two, stopping one and starting the other one I finally got mail to send a few days ago. I tried the same today with no luck. I finally just copied all of the mails in the queue to another server and stopped and started its smtp server to get them sent. Here are login entries that I am seeing, can anyone help me out?
Message delivery to the remote domain 'mydomain.com' failed for the following reason: The connection was dropped by the remote host.
Message delivery to the remote domain 'anotherdomain.com' failed for the following reason: The remote server did not respond to a connection attempt.
Message delivery to the remote domain 'anotherdomain.com' failed for the following reason: Unable to bind to the destination server in DNS.
