Win 2k , IIS , Local Web host
I want to take an "extra" PC I have and turn it into a test web server just for playing around with some coding. THe PC currently has Win 98 so I'll probably just wipe it clean and put Win 2k on it. I know I then need to install IIS on it. I also will need to put the SharePoint Team Services on it as well for some other things I want to play with.
Just looking for any general advice or anything I'll need to know before I start. I've never used a PC as a webhost before and have no idea if I just use the PC as normal and install the extra things or what.
Also I guess, do I need a certain version of Win 2k to do this or will any version work?
