Windows XP Partition Issue

I got a new machine running Windows XP Professional and this machine had its Hard Drive partitioned into 2 drive letters.

I deleted the second partition because I wanted to have just one drive letter (CWindows XP Partition Issue.

Now however, the space that was on the 2nd partition is "unallocated". I can't seem to find a way to merge this unallocated space with my C: drive.

How does one accomplish this without paying money for an 3rd party solution?
