Sendmail Woes

We recently moved a server behind our firewall, and now it can send mail to internet users, but not to users on our mail server (due to a firewall rule that prevents out and back connections, including DNS).

I think the solution is to send mail through our mail server (that also relies behind the firewall).

How can I set up sendmail to it relays mail to our mail server, instead of sending mail directly from the box?

We can't change the firewall rule because it leaves us vulnerable to spoofing (that's why we had to put it in place).

This is a non-control panel server. Just a plain redhat 9 box.
