hacked (CPanel) - fastest way to restore

hi - got hacked yesterday. Can someone tell me the fastest way to restore users files for Cpanel? Basically, I'm looking at the following:

1. Take HD and make it second HD on server
2. Restore OS and WHM/CPanel
3. Harden server to stop exploits as much as possible
4. Restore /home and other needed directories

This will obviously restore all the system OS, but my worry is that there will be something somewhere within /home that shouldn't be there. Is there any way to trace if there is a trojan in there or are there people that can be hired to do this?
