Help - Server getting hammered, tools to watch Apache traffic/stats!

One of our virtual clients sites has started to appear in the media and our server is getting hammered with httpd requests. The load is at 17 right now!

What tools are available to watch how many connections are being made to a clients site, total request, requests per second, etc in real time?

Linux server with Cpanel.
I've used the WHM Server Status and Apache/MysQL status tools but they don't display totals.

Please help this is urgent - id like to see what kind of requests the server is taking before suspending the account.
