SQL Port access
I just brought a new Windows 2003 Server online. Installed SQL 2000 (and SP3). I am unable to access that SQL server remotely. Firewall is turned off. Also, I am unable to register my other SQL server on there. I know it is possible, because I have it registered here at home. So, it seems, the SQL ports are not open for either inbound or outbound traffic on the 2003 server. When I do netstat, it says that port is listening, but it is listed as IP 0.0.0.0 Any ideas on what could be blocking those ports? Thanks!
