Apache2 vs. Apache1 - what's being used
I just finished installing Apache 2.0.48 on my new box. It seems to work OK. However, after installing, I asked my provider a question about something, and received a "by the way" response that they don't recommend Apache 2. Great!
So what's the scoop? A friend of mine (he's a sysadmin) recommended going with 2 because of security issues. My provider tells me to use 1.3x. What's a guy to do?
What's everyone using? Anyone care to relate their experiences with 1 and 2? Comments? Suggestions?
