Hotlink protection problems
A customer of mine has a hughe site with gifs. Ofcourse everybody is hotlinking from his site. And we want to stop that.
His site structure is the following
Public_html contains the html-pages and some banners, and he made a subdirectory witch contains all his images.
Now we want to protect this images, but the images must be availble for his own html-files.
I allready tried it with cpanel hotlinkprotection, but it doens't work properly. I believe I have to put an htaccess in his directory images. But that still didn't work! Can somebody help me solve this problem?
And I allready heard when I can get it to work I will always have problem with Norton. What the proper way to make Norton accept his page with hotlink protection. Everytime shutting norton down is a little to much...
