I'm wondering how to create a public FTP directory on my server. I'm running Red Hat Enterprise 3 with CPanel/WHM. My FTP server is pure-ftpd. Now, I know that there are anonymous logins for CPanel but I want this directory to be public, this to me means that a use can go to ftp://mydomain.com/file/they/want/file.ext and get the file without login in as anonymous, they should be able to download the file just by typing in the URL.
I don't think CPanel can do this, if it can't how do I do it manually?
