IT Security Consultation Firm
I felt a need to share some information that I became aware of, over the weekend.
Name of (and link to) the Company: Consultrix Technologies
How I found this Company: Strictly Luck! We installed a rather large amount of laminate in their new offices. Nearly 600 square feet, taking 2 and 1/2 days.
What does Consultrix do? They specialize in IT Security (white-hat hackers), commercial cabling installs, phone and computer systems.
Interesting Facts:
1- Ridgeland, MS - Consultrix Technologies receives the 25th Fastest Growing company in Mississippi. "Receiving this award just compliments our successful growth over the past three years" stated Todd Gooden, Chief Executive Officer of Consultrix Technologies. Consultrix continues to be cashflow positve and has a very bright future.
2- In January, 2001, at age 28, he (Todd Gooden - CEO) was recognized as one of the youngest professionals in the field of technology to be awarded "Top 40 Under 40" by the Mississippi Business Journal honoring the state's 40 up-and-coming business leaders under the age of 40.
Why did I bother, posting this information? Way to many reasons to list, but some of them are:
1- They are indeed a successful company, with definate plans of locating 3 other offices in various states, in the next 3 years.
2- The rapid exansion and success of this group leads one to feel others may want to know about them... those that may not already know or use them.
3- In the last 5 years, they have outgrown their offices, for the fourth time now.
How do I feel so comfortable, going all out this way? Each day we were on the job, so was their head IT Security guy. He was busy working on their building Security System, Server Room, and Control Panels for the Server Room. He and I had many good converstions about everything from the T.V. show "The Apprentice" , Linux in general, and a pretty thorough history lesson on how Consultrix was formed and continues to grow.
If your company is looking for these type of services, at least give Consultrix a good thorough look. I will safely say, you would not be disappointed.
