NT Mail Server? Praise for Mail Enable

Is it perfect? Almost.

Is it free? Yup?

Is it stable? Seems to be: we shall see.

Is it fairly easy to config? If you understand DNS and A records it is.

Is the documentation good? Actually not bad; the error screens even have pretty good 'here is how to fix it' text.

Is it sexy looking and well laid out? Pretty neat and after you spend a few sessions you know your way around quickly.

Is it install friendly? Pefect A on that one.

Is support good? Well I don't know if the guy helping me wrote it or uses it or just likes it but so far the support base has been nice.

Back to is it free and stable. As a user here said to me a few days ago, that's a rare combination so I'd say Mail Enable Standard gets an A in my book for NT/2k servers wanting to offer POP and SMTP mail to clients with Outlook.

Nice gem. at mailenable dot etc.
