formmail in CPanel

Got four or five e-mails from lengthy, non-existant e-mail addresses at my domain today. Looks like they were sent through /cgi-sys/formmail.pl; they're to me, with a Bcc to an AOL address.

I seem to recall that CPanel comes with its own 'secure' formmail scripts, that won't send mail outside the domain, but I wanted to be sure. Is there some hidden option in WHM I didn't see to disable formmail entirely?

But most importantly: am I safe, or is my box on 100 Mbps Ethernet being used to pump out hundreds of thousands of spam messages?
