At the moment I have a P4 2.4Ghz (533 FSB) in my server which is used for virtual hosting for clients. It usually has around 100 - 200 apache connections as well as mysql and the load is around 5 at most times but can spike up to 15 at times. I am thinking of upgrading to a P4 2.8Ghz 800FSB with HT enabled. What sort of a performance increase will I see? It will cost me $250 to upgrade.
