In the very near future I'm going to be purchasing my first dedicated server. While I'm excited about this opportunity I'm also concerned about security. My knowledge on security is not amateur nor is it expert. I need advice on what I need to do to make the server as secure as possible. What special instructions or advice should I give to the people setting up the server for me. Thanks for your input.
