I often get nervous when working with critical files, such as the sshd_config file. Any problems may result in me being locked out of my system if SSH for some reason doesn't start. Upgrading SSH is another issue. Does anybody keep another secondary SSH installation handy ready for activation in case a backup SSHd is needed? If so, can anyone point me to some instructions for the best way to accomplish this without intermixing the two installations?
