UDP Problem
Have just done a port scan on my server, and all the tcp ports that i want open, were open, and all the other tcp ports were stealth, which is great
BUT, then i scanned UDP, and it said every port it scanned for was open, but i only have port 53 open according to my firewall (yes it is applied and in use).
Now the kernel has be compiled with syncookies, could that be the reason? Does the kernel check all udp packets or something?
If anyone has any info it would be great, as im kinda worried about this
