Hi I wonder if someone could please explain how i would go about taking the database from my forum and putting it on a different forum on another site so i dont loose posts or any information also how do i restore a database should it crash.
Ive used the Mysql option on my hosts control panel and when i clicked on export database it downloaded a file to my computer with mySql in the name of the file so i presume this is my database as i say i need to know how to put this now back again if it dies. please
