RH Linux 9 loosing access to ISP's dns
One of our newly installed co-lo backup machines looses its 'ability to connect' to our datacenters DNS servers after a period of time. I have to keep restarting 'network' every day, otherwise the whole server looses its ability to do nslookups. Ex: can't send mail, takes forever to login, etc.
Any ideas? Could it be ipchains? I locked down nearly everything since the machine is only used to backup data to.
The only place to set the name servers is: /etc/resolv.conf correct??
