Simple and Advanced HTTP requests?

Can anyone enlighten me as to what the difference is between these?


I had a client saying that one of our servers isnt handling simple http requests, but is handling the advanced ones fine.

In all my years of adminstering servers, I have never heard anything about simple and advanced http requets.... Simple and Advanced HTTP requests?
