Connecting to my server "HELP" please
I registered a nameserver we'll call ns1nameservercom, ns2nameserver com
I also registered a domain name to use to test my server out, we'll call it wwwtestmyservercom.
while i was waiting for these new names to propigate I went to no-ip and got a couple of tempory names to try out the server. After getting everything set up, I am now able to open my browser on a diffrent computer type in myno-ipcom address and log on to my server (virtual server) and it goes to the correct web site. My problem is that when I type in the name that I registered
"wwwtestmyservercom" I get a "page not found error". I did a whois on the name and it comes back with it being pointed to the ns1nameservercom, ns2nameservercom. I also checked the nameserver address to make sure it was pointed to the right ip.
This is the first time I have tried to set up a web server so I am sure I have missed somthing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
