HTTPD kernel acceleration and kernel 2.6 yes or no?

What are your opinions on the built in httpd-acceleration in 2.4+ kernels? Is it worth to use?

I'm using mostly php-pages, so I'm not sure if it'd benefit me, since kernel-httpd is meant to do static pages only.


And what about kenrel 2.6? It is in a stable phase now, but can it be used on a server?
