Directory Alias help needed

hi i'm trying to do a directory alias but it doesn't seem to be working correctly.

i have a folder at /home/domain/public_html/musers/
and I want it to load as
http://www.domain.com/UserName

i tried this... Alias / /home/domain/public_html/musers/ it worked for the /musers folders but all other folders outside the /musers directory started erroring
