Email & PTR Records
OK - I'll try to make this as difficult as possible
When I send out an e-mail I notice in my SMTP log, I see this on some lines: 250-lsh104.siteprotect.com Hello payit-mail.pay-it.com [64.27.11.169] (may be forged), pleased to meet you. (Siteprotect was the old hosting company - changed about three weeks ago.)
There does not seem to be any PTR records listed in the DNSStuff website.
I called the data center and they said: I added 169 IN PTR payit-mail.pay-it.com.
What else needs to be done so that my IP address does not look forged?
Thanks!
